4  Past perfect continuous tense

As there is no ‘passive voice’  for perfect continuous tenses,  the passive voice of  ‘the perfect tenses’  is used for them, as mentioned in the end of the topic  Voices of Assertive sentences in Present tense.

So here, the  ‘passive voice’  of past perfect continuous tense,  ‘S + had + been + V+ing + O’,  will be ‘the passive voice of past perfect tense’ as,   ‘O + had + been+ V3 + by + S’

Eg: Mary had been writing the letter ( A.V )

The letter had been written by Mary ( P.V)
